iMatter Utah is a network of youth climate activists who are spokespersons in their communities, standing up for their right to a sustainable and viable future. Alec Loorz and his mom Victoria have been speaking to and training young people to organize and speak up for our collective future since he was 12 years old. The iMatter Movement was started by them in the name of Kids vs. Global Warming. Alec has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people around the world about the immediate need for action on climate change, and empowering youth to step up as major stakeholders in this crisis.
Now we are following Alec's lead in Utah. Currently, Ethan Lake (17), Sara Ma (17), Sierra Adler (17), and Treasure Lundskog (13) head up the iMatter Utah Speakers Board. They are supported by a much larger group of other teens, parents and grandparents from four different cities in Utah. We are available to give presentations throughout the state to schools, church groups, community councils or any other organization or political entity that is interested in hearing from young people about solutions for our future.
